THAILAND ราชอาณาจักรไทย Kingdom of Thailand ที่ตั้ง : ตั้งอยูบนคาบสมุทรอินโดจีน ในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต มีพรมแดนทางทิศตะวันออกติดประเทศลาวและประเทศกัมพูชา ทิศใตติดอาวไทยและประเทศมาเลเซีย ทิศตะวันตกติดทะเลอันดามันและประเทศพมา และทิศเหนือติดกับประเทศพมาและประเทศลาว โดยมีแมน้ำโขงกั้นเปนบางชวง พื้นที่ : 513,115.02 ตารางกิโลเมตร เมืองหลวง : กรุงเทพมหานคร - Bangkok ประชากร : 64.7 ลานคน (2551) ภาษา : ภาษาไทยเปนภาษาราชการ สกุลเงิน : บาท Baht : THB ศาสนา : ประมาณรอยละ 95 ของประชากรไทยนับถือศาสนาพุทธนิกายเถรวาท ซึ่งเปนศาสนาประจำชาติโดยพฤตินัย ภูมิอากาศ : เปนแบบเขตรอน ระบอบการปกครอง : ระบอบประชาธิปไตยแบบรัฐสภา อันมีพระมหากษัตริยทรงเปนประมุข
