  1. Hero Alloy Wheels: Modernized Designs and Technology for Modern Vehicles Stepping up from traditional steel wheels, Hero alloy wheels offer a suitable upgrade to modern two- wheelers and four-wheelers. Alloy wheels, especially aluminum alloy wheels are the popular choice of all modern car and motorcycle manufacturers around the globe. They bring dozens of appearance and performance benefits to the vehicles making driving smooth sailing to the end-users. Alloy wheels enable car and motorcycle manufacturers to expand their thoughts and implement innovations effectively. Rockman Industries, the manufacturer of die casting alloy wheels, supplies high-quality, flawless aluminum alloy wheels. They are one of the prominent die casting companies in India exporting diverse die cast parts and components to the automotive industry worldwide. What makes aluminum alloy wheels so demanding? There are several reasons behind the increasing demand for aluminum die casting alloy wheels among automotive manufacturers. Take a look at some of the basic advantages of using Hero alloy wheels: Lightweight component: Aluminum is lighter than steel. An aluminum alloy wheel is almost 30% lighter than a steel wheel. It makes clear the unsprung weight of a vehicle where an aluminum wheel is attached is much lighter than the unsprung weight of a vehicle with steel wheels. Lighter vehicles are easy to handle, drive on the long road, and maintain. Moreover, less unsprung weight helps the suspension system to act instantly on an uneven road or surface. Most importantly, Hero alloy wheels make a car or motorcycle more fuel efficient. Better heat dissipation: Alloy conducts better heat dissipation than steel. This means the heat generated in the engine parts or the braking system quickly gets to normal which makes the systems more efficient. In a high-traffic zone where the brakes are used frequently this particular property becomes a blessing for the drivers. Weather resistance: Aluminum does not get rust or corrosion. It has the natural characteristic of forming a film of aluminum oxide on the uppermost surface of the product that hinders corrosion. Moreover, when any part of a wheel is scratched, aluminum alloy quickly forms the oxide naturally. Aluminum alloy wheels are completely weather-resistant. This is another primary reason for the increasing demand for Hero alloy wheels. Enhanced styles and aesthetics: Die casting aluminum alloy wheels can be given a wide variety of looks. Alloy wheels come in different styles enhancing the overall aesthetics of the cars or motorcycles. The stylish and gorgeous wheels change the overall looks of the vehicles. Modern manufacturers demand different styles of wheels, Some automotive manufacturers even maintain specific styles as a part of branding. Die casting makes customization possible. How the die casting alloy wheels are manufactured?

  2. Hero alloy wheels are manufactured through several steps. Rockman Industries¸the prominent wheel manufacturer maintains strict quality checking in each step and final intensive quality checking before delivering products. Let’s get some knowledge on the different steps of manufacturing die casting aluminum alloy wheels: Step 1: Melting and Degassing In this step aluminum alloy is meted at 7500 C. The molten aluminum alloy is then degassed to remove certain impurities. Step 2: Casting In this step, the molten aluminum is poured into a pre-designed mold that looks exactly like the final product. Step 3: Gate cutting The molten metal is eventually solidified. The solidified metal connecting the casting to the mold called “Gates” is removed. Step 4: Heat treatment The wheel is now passed through a controlled heating and cooling process to enhance its strength and durability. Step 5: Shot blasting In this step, small metal beads are blown over the wheel at a very high speed. The process is called shot blasting. This process aims to clean the surface and make the surface ready for painting. Step 6: Machining In this step, all other uneven patterns in the wheel are removed to give it the perfect final shape. Step 7: Painting The wheel is now painted according to the client’s demand. Step 8: Assembling other parts This is the final step where the rim and spokes are assembled to make the wheel ready for the road. Rockman Industrieshas state-of-the-art facilities with 152 GDC and 8 LPDC fully automated machines. They have an annula capacity of 15 million two-wheeler Hero alloy wheels and 1 million alloy wheels for four-wheelers.
