What is PDP? • Personal development planning is the process of creating an action plan based on awareness, values, reflection, goal-setting and planning for personal development within the context of a career, education, relationship or for self-improvement. • Also called as:- - IDP (individual development plan) or - PEP (personal enterprise plan)

  3. Objectives of the Subjects • The objectives of this subject to the students are as the following:- 1. Become more effective, independent and confident self-directed learners; 2. Understand how they are learning and relate their learning to a wider context; 3. Improve their general skills for study and career management; 4. Articulate their personal goals and evaluate progress towards their achievement; 5. Encourage a positive attitude to learning throughout life.

  4. Teaching and Learning Strategies • The subject will be taught through a combination of formal lectures, tutorials, workshops and presentations. Assessment: • Portfolio : 60% • Assignment : 40% • Total : 100% a portfolio containing evidence of the skills gathered over a particular timeframe.
