  1. Welcome to Year 1Working in PartnershipTeachers: Mrs Metson and Miss CatchpoleLSA:Mrs Bilbeisi, Mrs Pitt, Miss Martin, Miss Pomeroy and Miss Potter.

  2. Expectations • Time • Coming into school Independently • Uniform • PE kit • Art Apron • Water bottle • Reading Book and Home/school Logs • Homework • Taking pride in their classroom

  3. Creative Homework ‘All about me book’ As a progression from the ‘All about me box’, children will be chosen to complete a page about anything they wish, interests, special events etc. The children can be as creative as they wish. This will be shared with their peers during the week and used as part of our learning throughout the year.

  4. Building Independence • Coming into class independently • Changing reading books • Taking pride of their belongings • Passing on messages from home

  5. Working together to achieve To support your child with their learning at home: • Daily reading • Sound boxes/bags (updating in the next few weeks) • Practise working with numbers (this can be through practical experiences) • Discuss our class topic
