  1. Clean Air Boxes CABs RAMs CO Monitors

  2. Features at a Glance • Grade D Compliance • Auto Calibration • Warning Systems • Triple Power Source Options • Durable Construction • Independent Regulators

  3. Grade D Compliance • Set by Compressed Gas Association • OSHA 1910.134 References NIOSH 42CFR84.141(b) • Oxygen 19.5%-23.5% • Hydrocarbons or oil (condensed) 5mg/m3 max. • Carbon Monoxide (C0) 10 ppm max • Carbon Dioxide (CO2) 1,000 ppm max • Odor – no noticeable taste or smell • No toxic contaminants at levels that make the air unsafe to breathe

  4. Grade D Compliance Incoming air with 19.5-23.5% Oxygen Carbon Monoxide Monitor for 10 ppm max. 5 micron particulate filtration Carbon filtration for tastes and smells .01 Micron Filtration *3 stage filtration is only one element of an OSHA compliant Grade D breathing air system. The incoming air should be tested prior to use. CAB Series products will not remove CO, CO2, Nitrogen or other toxic gases or fumes. These units will not increase oxygen supply and should not be used when air entering the system is oxygen deficient.

  5. Auto Calibration • 90 Seconds • No tools required • No flow meter to adjust • No potentiometer to adjust • Easy: push a single button *It is recommended that the unit be zeroed with impurity free test gas before calibration.

  6. Warning Systems • CO alarm • Visual and audible • Low flow alarm • Remote alarm • 90dB with strobe • Low battery alarm • Visual and audible • Filter change indicators

  7. Triple Power Source Options 9V battery in CO monitor 110V AC U.S. power cord std. Int’l cords available 80 hrs of operation on (8) AA batteries make unit totally self-contained

  8. Durable Construction Long life LEDs for fewer replacements Polycarbonate Pelican brand cases 1 year limited warranty on systems Automatic condensate drains extend filter life 2 year warranty on CO sensors Working pressure range up to 150 psi Powder coated steel

  9. Independent Regulators Independent regulators allow up to 8 different workers to control their air supply properly

  10. Remote Air Manifolds

  11. RAM Features at a Glance • NIOSH compliance • Available sizes • Available options

  12. Point of Attachment Compliance • 42CFR Part 84 Subpart J .149www.cdc.gov/niosh/pt84abs2.html • Pressure gauge - allows verification of this pressure setting at the point of attachment (see 84.149 (b)). • Regulator - allows adjustment of air pressure to manufacturer’s specified pressure range based on range of hose length used (see 84.149 (b)). • Pressure relief valve prevents pressure from exceeding 125 psi (see 84149 (d) (1)). • Congruous fitting allows connection of “Detachable couplings” as part of NIOSH approved respirator system (see 84.131 (5)).

  13. NIOSH Compliance Pressure gauge Congruous fitting Regulator 125 psi pressure relief valve

  14. Available Sizes & Options • 1, 2, 4, 8 Outlets • Independent regulators available • 5 outlet fitting types available • Hansen • Hansen Stainless • Snap Tite • Schrader • CEJN

  15. CO Monitoring

  16. Features at a Glance • Compliance • Auto calibration • Durable construction • 41 Series Filter bundles

  17. Compliance Meets OSHA Grade D requirements for CO monitoring and all NIOSH requirements for Point of Attachment *The COHP addresses the CO monitoring requirement for OSHA compliance of a Grade D breathing air system. Filtration must be addressed separately.

  18. Auto Calibration • 90 seconds • No tools required • No flow meter to adjust • No potentiometer to adjust • Easy: push a single button *It is recommended that the unit be zeroed with impurity free test gas before calibration.

  19. Durable Construction 1 year limited warranty on system Polycarbonate Pelican brand cases Working pressure range up to 150 psi 2 year warranty on CO sensor

  20. 41 Series Filter Bundles The popular 41 Series 7-stage filtration systems from Bullard can be bundled with a Bullard COHP monitor to help comply with the key requirements for an OSHA Grade D Breathing Air System *7 stage filtration and CO monitoring alone will not guarantee an OSHA compliant Grade D breathing air system. The incoming air should be tested prior to use. Neither CAB Series nor 41 Series products will not remove CO, CO2, Nitrogen or other toxic gases or fumes. These units will not increase oxygen supply and should not be used when air entering the system is oxygen deficient.
