  1. Meet the New Machines… Kustodian Walker Kustodian Ion Model C

  2. Machine Frame • The ION Model C and the Kustodian Walker will be built using the same frame. • This frame provides a larger battery compartment that is hinged for easy access. • All batteries can fit in the new compartment to provide ultimate flexibility.

  3. Stepper Motors • Stepper Motors replace Oil Head Motor and Metering Pump Motor. • Reliable precision motors. • Customers can now change pump volume or microliter settings through the touch screen.

  4. Battery Back-Up • The ION Model C and the Kustodian Walker will not operate with a power cord. • A new connection and holes in frame allow for quick hook up of the external battery back-up pack. • The battery back-up pack is included in the Walker. • The battery back-up pack is optional for the ION. • The battery back-up pack can provide an additional 25-35 lanes.

  5. Quick Change Oil Tank • Maintenance of conditioner tank is much easier. • Easily switch out conditioners without spilling a drop.

  6. New Touch Screen • 5” full color Industrial Touch Screen • Replaceable protective sheet • Protects against lane oil, cleaner, etc. • Sits in protective case. • Program updated using Flash Card • Updated in 30 seconds • File sent by e-mail or on Flash Card • Fully upgradeable

  7. New PLC • Omron PLC has 4 times the memory of the CPM2A (Kustodian PLC) • 10 times the speed • On-board analog outputs used for the drive motor and the cleaner pump. • 30 Lane Patterns in memory compared to 4 previously. • Walker patterns can be changed on-board. No need for Pocket KOSI.

  8. New Interface • User Interface was deigned to be extremely user friendly. • Created in-house with the help of a world class interface designer. • Giant leap forward from our 2-Line Display
