  1. Girls Pay Additional For Prime PG Accommodation compared to Boys

  2. Girls while finding the right PG accommodation for them have to go through a bit extra. Since their choice always goes with prime PG accommodation as compared to Boys who find themselves suitable with average PG’s. But in north campus girls pg Delhi, the rent is high as compared to Boys PG accommodation.

  3. Every year a large number of newbies come to the city of Delhi for Education and Job Opportunities, and their first preference is PG accommodation because Renting a separate Flat can put up an extra burden on the pocket. Whereas, there is a bit of difference in the rent between the genders. We mostly see that PG accommodation in North Delhi charges more than from girl as compared to boys. Going through some stats we found that girls need to pay 15 to 20 percent extra to acquire a prime PG accommodation.

  4. The reason behind is that Girl PG accommodation is mostly present in posh areas where you can find better safety and security. And on sometimes Girl prefers to have a single room all by themselves and avoid sharing room which is not the case with boys.

  5. PG owners have to reduce the number of bed in each room of PG accommodation as we mentioned earlier Girls don’t like to share a room or they don’t want to get their room crowded. So the PG owners have to increase the Rent to compensate for the expenses.

  6. Even locality plays some role in increased rent because most of the PG Accommodation in North Campus Delhi University is situated in high-class areas which eventually increases the PG rent. Plus PG accommodation for girls needs to have some extra safety and security. The premises of all Girls PG come with an extra layer of Security, like security staff, CCTV cameras, or watchmen.

  7. So now we understand that there are some reasons like Safety, Security, and Locality determines the PG rent for girls, and to get the prime PG accommodation girls to pay extra than boys.
