CRICKET NEWS: 'COMPETITION IN THE INDIAN TEAM IS HIGH', REVEALS - KL RAHUL India’s wicketkeeper-batsman KL Rahul was going through a rough patch in the five-match T20I series against England but the stylish right- hander has returned in his zone with the three-match ODI series against England in Pune. In the first ODI, he smashed a quickfire fifty whereas, in the second ODI, he scored a blistering century as well. He even did well behind the stumps too in the first game. However, Rahul said that he tried to prepare in the best way possible and stated that nothing beats game time as well. Source by twitter “As a batsman I feel being in the middle and playing games is what keeps me in good touch. Having not got as much game time as I would have liked, I mean I won’t say it did not play on my mind, but somehow or the other you have to find a way to be best prepared, be it at training or open net sessions,” Rahul explained. However, Rishabh Pant has returned in the white ball setup and Ishan Kishan also grabbed his chance with both hands, Rahul said that he knows the competition is high and he cannot take his place for granted despite being considered as one of the most prolific performers in the T20 format.
