  1. Reconnect with Your Soul and Find Inner Peace There are often many instances in life that we face and experience but are unable to explain to others or sometimes even to self. This instances may result in us losing touch with our inner self. Such instances are very common for those who experience a joyful event yet go into a depression. The situations may vary and the symptoms can take quite some time to surface but it is always better to be aware so that you can quickly realise and recognise the symptoms if you see someone suffering. What is Postpartum Depression? Often after delivering a child, new moms find it hard to cope-up with the responsibilities that motherhood bestows upon them. Although they are very happy with their baby, taking tension about the new life and responsibilities can hit the new mother with depression hard. It can happen during or after a hard birth period and if treated immediately, the depression is easy to overcome. Do what you like at that time. Reading books also helps a lot. Go out for walks and have a chat with your family and loved ones. Listen to the old stories they remember about you. You can take the help of an experienced expert to help you deal with the reconnection. Aftercare for Self-care Being loved and feeling love is an important step towards recovery. Stay with yourself and love yourself as aftercare for your inner health and peace. You can set up a separate time for yourself as "me-time" and do whatever you feel like at that time. Make sure that you have a heart to heart conversation about all that is bothering you with your loved one. It is an important part of self-care and reconnection not only with yourself but also with your life and your family life.
