  1. Hi, I wanted to share with you a little bit about why we produced our summertime reading program. For me, it was since of my students. Sometimes this was since the trainees had learning problems like dyslexia and ADHD. Other times, this was just because the teachers did not teach all of the specific abilities needed to check out.   3. The program does take some participation from a parent for grades K-2, but for grades 3-8, the majority of kids can do most activities in the program by themselves.
