Papers accepted based on peer-review with an 80% acceptance. Submission open to any presenter at an APAN meeting. Hosted by Universiti Putra Malaysia. Editor – Chris Elvidge on a two year term.

  3. Forerunner – Proceedings of the Network Research Workshop Peer reviewed. Originally printed and distributed at workshop. More recently published on CD and distributed at workshop. Each proceedings has its own ISBN number.

  7. Proceedings of the 33rd APAN • Papers sought - due no later than March 9, 2012. • See CFP at http://apan.net/meetings/ChiangMai2012/33rd_APAN_Call_for_Papers.php • Use the template posted at the CFP • It is a good idea to notify your session chair if you are submitting • Reviewers sought. • Register as a reviewer through http://usymposia.upm.my/index.php/APAN_Proceedings/33rd_APAN/user/account

  8. Proceedings Issues • Crossref discourages registering DOI numbers for proceedings without an ISSN number. An application for an ISSN number has been filed with the National Library of Malaysia. The application has not been acted upon despite several visits and calls to the NL. • An alternative may be to seek an ISSN number as APAN Ltd., which is incorporated in Hong Kong. ISSN numbers for publishers based in Hong Kong are issued by the ISSN International Centre. • The NRW is welcome to use the APAN proceedings online submission and peer review system. Elvidge will set up the system for their use on the 34th APAN. • Obtaining endorsement from IEEE recommended by DY Kim. • We could repackage the proceedings in e-pub format for access via mobile devices and e-readers. • Eventually it would be good to publish all the NRW proceedings online.
