The Downward Spiral: Exploring Relationships Through Color and Connotation

This project examines the dynamics of relationships, particularly between significant others, from their flourishing beginnings to tumultuous midpoints, culminating in their eventual breakdown. Through the lens of color symbolism and an analysis of recurring themes and responses, we delve into the emotional trajectory of these connections. Using insights from Hidy Kong, Josh Ginsberg, and Jordan Martin, we explore how connotations of frequently used words reflect the state of a relationship and contribute to its progression or decline.
