  2. PSALM 93:1-5* (p. 123) 1 The LORD is king; his throne endures majestic in his height. The LORD is robed in majesty and armed with strength and might.

  3. PSALM 93:1-5* (2/5) The world is founded firm and sure— removed it cannot be. 2 Your throne is strong, and you are God from all eternity.

Then she wiped them

"Tell me, teacher," he said.

  30. A Little Drama at a PartySuspect Number 2: The Woman • A notorious woman. • Their formal dinner habits gave her easy access to Jesus’ feet! • Why the expense? She had been forgiven, she wanted to thank him! • Then her emotions took over, a flood of tears! Little feet

  31. A Little Drama at a PartySuspect Number 3: YOU & ME • She was notorious: we are pretty good at hiding our sins. • BUT the worst sin of all is refusing to have God as our master and King. • The impertinence of sitting on a royal throne: Would you dare?

  32. A Little Drama at a PartySuspect Number 3: YOU & ME • If you have caught yourself on God’s throne… • Is it time to get off, and lodge a humble apology? • Why did Jesus Christ stand in the ruins of humanity: at the cross, forsaken by his Father?

  33. 2 Corinthians 5:21 • “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” • Simon did not understand his own sin, but she did. You understand more – you know about the CROSS. • WHAT WILL YOU DO ABOUT IT?
