Visual Prototyping Final Presentation

This research proposal investigates how accessible 3D scanner technology can be harnessed to explore and conceptualize outer space. Utilizing multi-color imagery from a powerful 2.5-meter telescope equipped with a 120-megapixel camera, we aim to create a detailed 3D sky map. Future developments involve brainstorming advanced systems such as a panoramic camera array mounted on high-altitude weather balloons for seamless imagery capture. Enhancements include a reduced size, an auto-capture function, and GPS integration for improved data collection and public engagement in astronomical research.
