3. PEK program changes (Wagner)Action: e-vote by Noon, Friday, August 29, 2013 Approval is needed for the following changes to PEK program professional phase procedures and guidelines. • Students in PEK will need a 2.75 GPA from all course work taken at A&M or any other institution of higher education public or private to be accepted into professional phase. Rationale: This is a state requirement pursuant to SB 2012 • The following courses need to be moved into the professional phase: KNFB 315, KNFB 324, & HLTH 421 Rationale:These courses are all field based and for students to be assessed differential tuition must be in the professional phase with student designation of KINE • Move KINE 425 out of professional phase Rationale:Need courses outside of professional phase with above change.
