  5. What is an ecosystem? • Abiotic factors- nonliving things in an environment. • Examples- rainfall, snow, ice, sunlight, soils

  6. What is an ecosystem? • The abiotic and biotic factors in an ecosystem work together. • For example, plants in a pond need a lot of water. • They also need a certain kind of soil to grow well.
