Advancing Legacy Services and PI Certification with RIPE

In a constructive dialogue, Axel Pawlik and Randy Bush pledged to enhance Provider Independent (PI) services and certification for all address holders within the RIPE community. Despite a history of miscommunication via email, recent face-to-face discussions revealed a strong consensus on several key proposals. Our primary goal remains creating an accurate registry while formally recognizing and certifying legacy and PI holders. By formalizing our relationships and services, we can ensure clarity and collaboration moving forward, all while keeping a light-hearted approach to the process. Final decisions will be communicated through the mailing list.
