  2. CHARACTERISTICS • Pegasus is a white winged horse. He is the only horse in the Greek mythology that can fly.

  3. FAMILY • Pegasus was born from the blood of Medusa when Perseus cut off her head. His father is Poseidon.

  4. Events!!! • The Bellerophon was an enemy of Pegasus; he tamed Pegasus, but then he took him to Lycia to kill the Chimera. He attacked Chimera with the steed and tamed it with golden bridle given to him by Athena.

  5. MORE EVENTS!! • Bellerophon angered the gods by riding Pegasus up to Mount Olympus. Pegasus threw Bellerophon off, who fell to the face of the Earth.
