A short trip to Prishtina (Kosovo) 23,24 and 25 March 2011. This to transfer the ownership of the ECHOS Home Soldier’s Home ‘The Mast’. ‘The Mast’ was transferred from SFOR Camp ‘ Tito Barracks ’ (Sarajevo) to KFOR Camp ‘Slim Lines’ at Prishtina (Kosovo) in 2001.

  8. Just today – 23 March 2011 – the official handovertookplace between the (KFOR) Portuguese 1st Para Battalion and 2nd Mech. Batallion.

  9. Mr. Cor Louwerse (r), managing director of Home-Base Support; Mrs. Arta Kryeziu, manager of ‘The Mast’ (m); Mr. and Mrs. Jola van der Mast (l) wereinvited to join the parade.

  21. Apart from the certificates of meritand letters of recommendation, everybody was presented a typical ‘Gouda Cheese’.

  22. After a short, but meaningfulvisit to Prishtina, ‘The Mast’ andits team, we returned home. The onlythings we had to declare… wereimpressions.

  23. Withthis we wouldlike to thank Arta and her team for theirhospitalityandallthey have achievedduringtheir mission within Home-Base Support, supportingits goals: To offer ‘a home awayfrom home’ for the military, whereverthey serve and wherevertheycomefrom. Management andstaff Home-Base Support
