  2. Goal of the Project: • Display: • Latitude • Longitude • Speed • Direction • Date & Time • GPS should be small enough to be easily portable and run off of a 9V battery.

  3. Process: • Connect the GPS to the microcontroller • Read via serial port • Parse the data and reread via serial port • Connect to the LCD

  4. Testing: • Compare values and take error into account • Google Map • Speed • Compare with speedometer on car • Direction • Compare with compass in car • Date & Time • Compare with cell phone time
