Incorporation or Not Incorporated – Operated as a Limited Company • It is a legal person • It can own assets • Liability is limited • Directors cannot normally be pursued • Exposure of individuals is avoided The company can own assets such as land Running along traditional lines still possible National Golf Clubs' Advisory Association

  8. Pathway to Incorporation • Decision to Incorporate • Assessment of assets and liabilities • Business plan – financial viability must be assured • Guarantee or shares • Transfer of assets • Employee transfer under TUPE • Transfer of contracts National Golf Clubs' Advisory Association
