Objective and Scales: • The student will be able to evaluate the Age of Jackson including the election of 1824/1828 and the division of the Democratic Republicans with 80% accuracy • According to today’s objective what learning goal will we be working toward mastery of today? • Yes, goal A and B • What is mastery of goal A and B? • Update TOC to include page 75: Age of Jackson Power Thinking

  4. Why does this objective matter? The Age of Jackson will describe the next twenty years in history. It is described as such, even when he is out of office. He had a great and lasting influence and the people adored him. Jackson represented the “common man.” But, was he as Democratic as the era suggests? Dun DunDunnnnn War Hero OR Tyrant
