Food for Thought • The kitchen is the root of the dietetic profession • It is where we came from and where we must head back to OR deeply re-align ourselves • The challenge is that so much nutrition education takes place outside of the kitchen • We face many regulations: • What we can do with food • Where we can do it • How we can do it • Scope of practice AND there are a lot of people in the food space

  3. The nutrition professional is uniquely educated and positioned to connect the dots between the evidenced-based science, nutrition, and the food that is our best medicine This IS our time
