Ways To Maintain Kitchen Cabinets 1 Regularly clean & dust your cabinets to make sure that they look new for a long time.  The cabinet handles can become quite sticky, so clean the grease/dust on them with the help of soap- alcohol mix.  2 Regularly clean the inside of cabinet using a vacuum cleaner and after this, wipe it using a sponge & soap-water mixture. 3  Use a soft cloth dampened with warm water to clean off the cabinet surfaces.
