  2. What they do! • They are run by Robin Gates and co-run by Barbara Kimmons • The group is over 50 years old • They find homes for abandoned Boston Terriers • Their “foster care” system socializes the dogs to prepare for adoption

Where it all began! • Founded by Barbara and Roy Kimmons over 50 years ago • Was originally a club for breeding Bostons and making show quality dogs • They now take in stray Bostons and find homes for them through the website and pound. • Even though she resigned from running the organization on her own, she still has a house full. Her current dogs and inspiration are: Barkely, Tiny Timm and Zoe.

What they have done! • They have had over 250+ dogs come through • all of which I adopted • I adopted a little one that my family fostered named Liberty (Libby Lu for short) • My family had 10 dogs at one time and fostered over 15 dogs in all. • The dogs are the background for this presentation. Except for my bassets. • They are: Liberty, Virgil, Owen (Ohwie oh), Freckles, Bilbo(mother and son), Phoebe (feeble), Frenchie, (my mama’s pj’s are behind her), Hannah, Miss America, and Zipper
