IMPLEMENTING MEASURES Existing products – Articles 8 and 20 • Products which are or will be authorised under current community legislation: • Application for renewal of authorisation has to be submitted within nine years from date of placing on the market • Products which are currently lawfully on the market, in accordance with Community Legislation and which have not been required to undergo GM authorisation prior to Reg. 1829/2003: • Application for approval to be submitted within three years of the date of application

IMPLEMENTING MEASURES Preparation and presentation of notifications • Information requirements • Date of placing on the market • Detection method + samples of food and feed • Confidentiality Notification should be made by: - the authorisation holder or - the operator who owns the GMO or - the operator who imports, produces or manufactures the products
