  6. In their intro… did they have a “P”osition statement (thesis) In other words… did they argue whether the “Do What You Are” assessment was accurate or not? If so… leave it alone. If not… in margin write “I could not find your thesis. Were tests accurate or not?”

  7. 5 paragraphs? Introduction Conclusion??

  8. Paragraph #5 - Conclusion Did they come to a conclusion? Do they reintroduce things from their intro like “Santiago High School”, And the “Do What You Are” assessment) If not, tell them they need to do so! Re-“Hook” – Check out the last sentence… did they use “parallel structure” to end the essay?
