  2. People's Republic of China (PRC) Capital: Beijing Land size: China has a landmass of 9,600,000 sq km, and is the third-largest country in the world, next only to US, Russia and Canada. Location: In the east of the Asian continent, on the western shore of the Pacific Ocean. Population: China is the world's most populous country with 1.28453 billion at the end of 2002, one-fifth of the world's total. Located among the orchards and pines in the mountains to the north of Beijing, the Great Wall of China was constructed and reconstructed at Mutianyu to keep out the nomadic tribes to the north. A short 60 km trip outside of Beijing, The Great Wall of China at Mutianyu stands as a monument to both the strength and the weakness of the Chinese Ming Dynasty (1368-1627).

  3. United State of America Capital: Washington, DC Land Size: The nation is the third-largest country in the world in area behind China, Russia and Canada. It has a total area of 9,629,091 sq km .Location: The continental United States are located in North America between Mexico and Canada. Population: The current U.S.A. population is over 311 million people , third largest population (following China and India). The capital of the U.S. has 96 historic places that bring the 200+year history of the city to life. Visitors will learn not only about the famous national landmarks and monuments of Washington, such as the White House, the Capitol Building, and the Mall, but will also learn about the historic neighborhoods and local landmarks that make the city so unique.
