  4. why a skin boat? • superior strength/weight ratio • test theory that flexible hull shows better flow characteristics than rigid one • no corrosion or delamination • low cost • lashings = cheap labor

  5. wish list • has to withstand offshore environs • cost under $40,000. • top speed 20kts • beachable • comfortable live-aboard: • table to sit 6 comfortably • generous ‘master bedroom’ • ‘studio’ space • 6.5’ headroom • washing machine • fresh and seawater systems
