Intelligent Buildings Roadmap(IBRM) • Technology Roadmap for Intelligent Buildings (TRM) was written in 2002 and needs updating. • Property of Federal Government and, unless involved in rewrite, TRM can only be used as reference to produce the IBRM. • TRM focused on commercial, institutional and high-rise residential buildings and provided an in-depth examination of intelligent buildings technologies.

Intelligent Buildings RoadmapProject Plan Requirements • Task Force for project scope definition. • Steering Cttee to contribute to & oversee the content of the report. • Sponsor(s) to fund the project: • Governments, Research or Training Institutes. • Private enterprises. • Contractor to conduct the research and produce the report. • IBRM project is projected to secure 10 contributors @$15K US = $150K. • Panduit Corp., CABA Board Member, already committed their share to fund the project.
