QUTE-software • Project QUTE • – Quality in vocational education (2005-2006) • Project SEKER (TOI) • – Self-evaluation in Konya region (2009-2010) • Main idea: • to develop self-evaluation software for conducting surveys for teachers, pupils… and get results immediately • Results (www.self-evaluation.net): • Software for conducting surveys and analyze-compare results • Self-evaluation manual (process, areas, indicators, criteria…) • Questionnaires (for teacher, students, headmasters) 1st QALLL Conference . Promoting Peer-review • Methodology based on Peer-review manual (LdV project): • External evaluation of schools as complementary method to self-evaluation • Peers from schools and from institute (CPI) • Training for schools and peers • 2 quality areas: • Self-evaluation process • Learning and teaching process • Results: • Criteria for areas • School reports • School improvement plans • Trained and experienced peers 1st QALLL Conference . Monitoring – main findings • 93 % of schools has a quality group • 65% of school has a quality report (based on self-evaluation) on website • Improvement plans are concerning: • Teaching and learning (41 %) • School management (18 %) • Pupil’s support (10 %) • 26 % of schools managers are using quality report for planning • Commitment to quality on a da 1st QALLL Conference .
