Greetings NEWS OF THE CHURCH FAMILY
May the righteous be glad And rejoice before God; May they be happy and joyful. Psalm 68.3
Statement of Faith – The Apostles’ Creed I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
THE LORD’S PRAYER Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
Anthem “Circle of Friends”
Luke 10:25-29 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “What must I do to inherit eternal life?” “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?”
Luke 10:25-29 He answered: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.” But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
Deuteronomy 6.5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
Leviticus 19.18 ...Love your neighbor as yourself....
May the Spirit bind us together as we build this house of faith. One in heart and one in spirit may we grow. May we raise our voices in witness. May our lives reflect Thy grace. One in heart and one in spirit as we go, As we go.
