  3. The Study of Air Conditioning • students learn about many aspects of the air conditioning field • British Thermal Unit • volts • amps • three methods of heat transfer • conduction, convection, and radiation

  4. Heating • In HVAC/R the students learn about many types of heat • OIL • GAS • ALTERNATIVE ENERGY • solar • wood • HEAT PUMPS

  5. Refrigeration • Students learn the primary components and all accessories needed to design, build, and repair several types of commercial, and industrial Refrigeration systems.

  6. Licenses available • EPA Certification • offered to juniors and seniors • 200 hours towards oil burners licenses • 200 hours towards refrigeration licenses

  7. Job Shadowing • This is an opportunity for students to study a company that they would like to work for. • Employers who participate in job shadowing • KCR • Day Supply • Victory HVAC • Boucher Energy • Milford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital

  8. CO-OP • This enables eligible seniors to work in their chosen field while completing their academic studies. • Employers who participate in co-op • Victory HVAC • Milford Hospital • Renaud HVAC and Controls • T&J heating • Boucher Energy • JJ Mechanical • Central Mechanical

  9. Automatic Controls • Students design and build advanced automatic control systems
