  1. Word Within the Word Vocabulary

  2. Vocabulary Flashcards and Info • You will be assessed on vocabulary approximately every other week, generally on Fridays. • Spend at least 10 minutes a day learning your stems and words. • Vocabulary assessments are cumulative, meaning that List 34 tests Lists 31-34, not just List 31. • Your first assignment for vocabulary is flashcards. • Flashcards are (usually) due the Wednesday after they are assigned. Check my website or your agenda for due dates!

  3. Flashcards • Using 3x5 index cards and markers, you will create your flashcards as follows: • Write one stem on each card in the color of your choice. • In the same color, write the corresponding definitions on the reverse side. • Using the same color as the stem, and at least one other color, write the word on one side of another card. (You may choose to put all 4 pieces of info on one card.) • Write the definition of the word on the opposite side. • Add the list number to the front side of the card.
