  7. Focus Question • Should all disorders of the autism spectrum be treated equally or unequally based on the severity of the disorder?

  8. Responses for Equally • A Child that has Autism Spectrum Disorder still has the ability to function just like every child. They are capable of learning and in some disorders they excel in good memory. Depending on the spectrum they may need extra help/assistance in their daily life. Also, they can be put in regular class settings with other students.

  9. Response to Unequally • In different developmental spectrums of Autism Spectrum Disorder some children tend to act differently by having a repetitive action done all the time. Such as, rocking back and forth, swinging their arms around, screaming, and squeezing which can cause frustration to other students.
