1. Witness - Final Novel Project Options CD Cover – Powerpoint (3- 4 slides) Design the front and back cover for a CD to capture two themes of the novel. • The front should include the title of the novel and a visual representation. • The back cover should list a minimum of ten songs (and the artists who sing them!) that encompass the themes. Next, you will write 1-2 pages of “liner notes” showing evidence of how each song relates to the themes of the novel.

2. Final Novel Project Options Theme collage Using magazine photos, artwork, print images, word clouds, and other artefacts, create a collage to represent two themes of the novel. Include important ideas, events, and characters from the novel that directly support these themes. On a separate page, write a four-paragraph essay (Intro, 2 Body, Conclusion) explaining what the images symbolize and how they relate to and illustrate each of the themes of the novel.

5. Liner Notes • I’m Not Afraid by Eminem This anthem of bravery by Eminem is a battle cry of courage. The pigs stand tall in the face of fear, saying, “Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin,” as the Big Bad Wolf threatens their lives. Eminem sings, “We’ll walk this road together….you’re not alone,” which captures the solidarity and brotherhood of the pigs as they work as a team to protect their homes and each other.
