RPF Eligibility Criteria: Requirements and Qualifications RPF (Railway Protection Force) is one of the essential security forces in India, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Indian railway network. The RPF recruits candidates from different backgrounds to serve as constables, sub-inspectors, and inspectors in various railway zones across the country. However, to be eligible for the RPF recruitment process, candidates need to fulfill specific eligibility criteria set by the recruiting authority. In this article, we will discuss the RPF eligibility criteria in detail. Age Limit: The minimum age limit for RPF recruitment is 18 years, and the maximum age limit varies according to the position and category of the candidate. For general category candidates, the maximum age limit is 25 years, while for SC/ST candidates, it is 30 years. OBC candidates have a relaxation of three years in the maximum age limit. Educational Qualification: For the post of constable, candidates must have passed Class 10th from a recognized board. For the post of sub-inspector, candidates must have completed graduation from a recognized university. Physical Standards: Candidates must fulfill specific physical standards to be eligible for the RPF recruitment process. For male candidates, the minimum height requirement is 165 cm, while for female candidates, it is 157 cm. The minimum chest measurement is 80 cm for male candidates with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.
