  4. postquam omnes cenaverunt, Caecilus clamavit, “ubi est Decens? Decens non adest!”

  5. tum Caecilius Clementem e villa misit. misit = sent

  6. servus Decentem per urbem quaesivit. quaesivit = looked for

  7. postquam servus e villa discessit, Felix poculumhausit. tum libertus mirabilis fabulam narravit: discessit – left hausit - drained poculum – cup mirabilis - marvelous

  8. olim amicus meus ex urbe discedebat. nox erat, sed luna plenalucebat. nox – night plena - full luna – moon lucebat – was shining

  9. amicus per viam festinabat, ubi silva erat. silva - forest

  10. et subito centurionem conspexit. amicus meus centurionem salutavit. centurionem - centurion
