  3. Proposed Regulations Changes for 2010-12 season Region 6: C&R Season for Eastern Basin & Jeff County Region 7: Extended C&R Season on Oneida Lake Three Rivers Boundaries -Vs- VHS Region 9: Lake Erie MSL for SMB (20 -Vs- 18)

Carrying Capacity for Canandaigua Lake (Lake Association Proposal) • - Reduce the overall number of boats on the lake at any given time • - Assessment used effectively discounts 200 foot out from shore • - Usable Acreage = 10,500 – 940 (200 ft no wake zone) = 9,560 acres http://www.canandaigualake.org/index.htm

  5. Developing & Maintaining Partnerships - Cornell COOP (Water Chestnut Removal) - NY DEC “I Fish NY” (5,600 educated in 2008) - Adirondack Nature Conservancy (Invasive Species Control)

  6. 2008 Annual Awards Process Clubs were invited to submit their annual achievements and compete for recognition in the following categories: - Public Interaction - Youth - Conservation & Education Point values: - 5 pts for every man-hour expended - 10 pts for every club member that participated - 10 points for any local/regional coverage - 20 points for any national coverage
