  2. You are receiving an 80yo female from Post Anesthesia Recovery after a colon resection.There is a continuous epidural in place for pain management.

  3. What additional information do you need? • POST-OP EPIDURAL or INTRATHECAL NARCOTIC ORDERS

  4. The patient received the following epidural/intrathecal narcotic: 1 x Injection/bolus: Type: Amount: Date: Time: x Continuous opioid/dilute local anesthetic mixture: Fentanyl & Repivicaine @ 6 ml/hr

  5. Complications: • Respiratory Depression • “Postural Spread” • Normal SpO2, Increased CO2 • Sedation Scale • Narcan • Itching

  6. Breakthrough Pain: • Additional 10 micrograms of Fentanyl administered by CRNA.
