SMA Directors: Safety Days Knowledge Sharing* • Proposal: Identify and leverage the “best of the best” Safety Days ideas to all Centers • What type of events, activities, and speakers do you have? • Who supports this activity? • Would you be willing to share what your Center does regarding Safety Days with other Centers? • General feedback • All Center SMA Offices have a Safety Days event ranging from 1-30 days • All indicated they will continue to do so • Most SMA Offices would consider sharing and using ideas and learning from other Centers * June – August, 2012

Purpose of This Knowledge Sharing Event • Capture existing Center practices and procedures • Share your insights, experiences, ask questions, identify opportunities- the context of your work • Overall goal: Collaboration between Centers • Identify points of contact at other Centers • Make your Safety Days an engaging and meaningful event • Raise awareness of safety issues in response to what is happening at your Center and across the Agency • Get the most for your investment—money and time • Leverage resources across Centers- Document these ideas and distribute to all Safety Days planning teams • Used Adobe Connect to facilitate event
