JAMES GUNN

1. One of my favorite authors, James Gunn is a science fiction author that has influenced my writing. He wrote a science fiction novel, The Thanling, which I enjoyed very much. In fact, it was so good I actually got a copy of it reviewed in Books Into Life. There are a lot of Gunn books to read. James Gunn was born in 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio. He worked for a company that made R & D items. After leaving that company, he pursued a degree in Science, Technology, andomycesiology from the University of Michigan. In his thesis he concentrated on the effect of low dose radiation on living tissues. An avid reader, James Gunn's works often reference science, mathematics, astronomy, and other areas of the natural world. He has written several books on these topics. In his later years, Gunn became a popular author. As a science fiction author, Gunn wrote several novels focusing on aliens, time travel, and space travel. He also wrote several short stories and non-fiction works in this field. I enjoyed the diversity of ideas and concepts that Gunn offered in his novels. Actually, I would say that all his works were similar in some way or another. The only real difference between his novels is the style and writing style he employed. He did not write in the "block type" manner that many science fiction authors use today. Instead, he wrote very realistically and gently. Some of his most famous works are The Thanling, Darkover, Carnival, and Darkwater. These were some of his most popular books. I enjoyed reading them because they featured a new character in each one, as well as a unique setting. It is hard to say which of his works stands out the most. The life and times that Gunn wrote about in his novels make his work stand apart. This is a wonderful author to add to your list of favorites. You will enjoy his style of writing. Gunn also wrote a number of short works. I enjoyed reading them. I hope that someday you will be able to read some of his short works. This author has a talent for creating characters that are genuinely interesting. In addition, he created characters that you care about. In his later works, he took the ideas that he had written about in the earlier works and expanded on them. One of the works that I especially enjoyed reading by Gunn was entitled "The Sands of Time." This was his first novel and I enjoyed it very much. In this novel, we learn about what the Mars expedition team experiences during the time that they are stranded on Mars. They also experience some problems along the way. You should definitely check out the works of this author. Not only does he have a wide range of topics, but he also has a way with words that makes his books very appealing to a mass audience. This author has gone on to become one of the best-selling authors in the modern history of science fiction. You should definitely pick up one of his future novels if you like his James Gunn work.
