The Excretory System By: Logan Snell
Infrior Vena Cava function- receives blood from lower limbs and abdomen organs and empties into the posterior part of the right atrium of the heart
Abdominal Aorta Function- A branch of the descending aorta
Right and Left Kidney Function- helps maintain the salt content, water content, core temperature, blood pressure, and blood volume
Ureter Function- Cares waste products from the kidney to the urinary bladder
Urinary bladder Function- storage of liquid waste( the bladder looks like a funnel)
Urethraand the urethral sphincter Urethral sphincter- a spherical muscle that constricts the urethra Urethra function- carry’s liquid waste out of the body(sweat glands remove excess water and salt from the body.)
Renal artery/Renal vein/Hilum Function- blood flow for the kidney Function- helps blood leaves from the kidney Function- connects the renal vein to the kidney
