Applications are invited for ONE (01) purely temporary post of Post Doctoral Fellow (PDF). This is a unique opportunity to work in the interface of Chemistry and Biology with a group of faculties having diverse range of experience and expertise. Post Doctoral Fellow (PDF) - 01 Post Qualifications: The minimum qualifications of the candidate should be Ph.D. in Life Sciences/Molecular biology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology and at least one publication in peer-reviewed reputed journal with experience in mammalian as well as fungal cell biology. Candidates without adequate research experience or experience in the areas mentioned need not apply. The candidate should have research experience in handling microbial as well as mammalian cells and a good theoretical as well as practical knowledge of molecular biology and cell biology techniques. Candidates with experience in techniques such as cloning, extraction of RNA and DNA, ChIP analysis, promoter analysis via primer walking or reporter assays would be preferred. In addition the candidate should have sound practical knowledge of western blotting and fluorescence microscopy imaging.
