Located on the ground floor of St. Veronica's, our infusion unit offers comfortable reclining chairs and is open Monday-Friday from 08:00hrs to 19:00hrs. Our team of physicians is always available when patients are in the unit. We specialize in various clinical specialties including rheumatology, gastroenterology, neurology, respiratory, dermatology, endocrinology, urology, and oncology. Admission procedure ( cont’d) • Admission directly to St Veronica’s Ward • Admitted by Infusion nurse, IV cannula sited and bloods taken. • Rapid laboratory turnaround available – approx 60 – 90 minutes. • For Aclasta infusion – time in hospital approx 2 hours.
