  1. Science Foundation Circle of Earth

  2. Who lives in your community? I live next door to a principal of a high school and a police officer lives down the street from me. There are some grandparents across the street and an artist that lives one road over.

  3. Wildlife lives together to create it’s own community too! I want you to create a circle of Earth tonight. You can put a string down in a circle of just choose an area of land that you want to watch.

  4. Get down and lay on your tummy. What do you see? Can you see more when you are up close than you could when you first starting looking? Do you see plants, bugs, dirt, water?

  5. Isn’t it amazing how such a small section of Earth is so full of life?

  6. Now we are going to read one of my very favorite books called The Very Busy Spider by Eric Carle http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dz05diaKZmk

  7. Homework:Build a bug “hotel.” Dig a small hole in a place where bugs like to visit. Set an empty cup or container in the hole and add a small piece of fruit if you have it. Check the “hotel” each morning to see if any bugs came to visit! See you next time Scientists!
