  2. Completing the Fall 2007Online Application • Fall 2007 Application period is Oct. 1- Nov. 30, 2006. • All screens must be completed in order to submit your application • Payment type must be selected • Be sure to check Application Filing Status report to learn when campuses close

SDSU Service Area Upper-Division Transfer Admission Criteria – Spring 2007 To be considered for admission to SDSU, transfer applicants must have a “Transfer Studies Degree Agreement” on file with SDSU and a local area Community College. Cuyamaca College Grossmont College Imperial Valley College San Diego Miramar College San Diego City College San Diego Mesa College Southwestern College

Complete a minimum of 60 transferable semester units by the end of Spring 2007. • Golden 4 by Spring 2007GE requirements in written communication, oral communication, critical thinking, and mathematics must be completed with a "C" or higher in each course. • A1 Comm 120,or 122 • A2 English 120 • A3 English 122, or 124, or Phil 125, or 130 • B3 Any transferable Math 120 or higher • Applicants must submit required documentation by deadlines.

  5. Major Preparation • By the end of Spring 2007, complete preparation for the major courses that are articulated or approved as equivalent and offered at the college(s) attended in the year prior to transfer. Some impacted majors have specific grade expectations for individual courses or combination of courses that must be met. • If you will not complete all preparation for the major or general education course work by the end of Spring 2007, you most likely will still be admitted to SDSU.

  6. GPA Requirements:Applicants must meet the GPA required for the impacted major see http://www.ASSIST.org for details. Applicants must meet the required GPA at the time of application, and they must maintain the GPA through the end of Spring 2007. NOTE: Transfer students who are admitted to a major or premajor must petition if they decide to request a change of major after enrollment at SDSU. Music and dance major applicants must audition for acceptance to the major. SDSU is not accepting applications for second bachelor candidates. There is an additional application and additional ranking criteria for Nursing applicants.

  15. This is what is called “the Golden Four” and should have been completed by the end of the summer session.

  18. Transcripts • How do I request a transcript?All official transcripts must be requested in writing. You may send us a letter or fill out a request form. The student MUST sign all requests. Request form is available online at www.cuyamaca.net/admissions/trans.asp • DO NOT SEND YOUR REQUEST THROUGH E-MAIL.

  20. What is the GWAR? • GWAR stands for “Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement.” • Take the “Writing Proficiency Assessment,” (WPA), to clear the GWAR during Junior year. • It is a one hour essay test. • Details at http://www.sdsu.edu/testoffice
