  6. Create An Account • Unique Email Account Required • Use email addresses like Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, etc. • Student Support can assist • Username must be unique • New automated system to check if username is available • Username suggestions are provided to user if desired username is taken

  7. To start an application. • To complete additional applications to other CSU campuses, you only have to complete the first screen of • each application. To resume an application. To view submitted applications. Application Manager

  8. To begin the application click on the “Begin Application” button at the bottom of the introduction screen. You must scroll down the screen to view the button.

  9. Online Tutorial Each header bar will also have a link to the online tutorial via the “Play” button. Only videos pertinent to this section will play You can navigate to other parts of the video using the menu on the right of the video.

Screen 4 – CA State Residency Information • Residency Status • Your responses to the following questions are required to make a preliminary assessment of your residency status for admission and tuition purposes. The campus may request additional information prior to making a final residence determination.

  15. Screen 6 – High School Information • Current or Last High School Attended • High School Information • Graduation, GED Date or checkbox, if neither • Other High Schools attended • Test Information • Entries for SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS and PTE • EAP scores Release to CSU campus

  21. Click “Add … Course” to enter a course. Click Trash Can to delete a course. Click “Edit” to modify a course.

  22. Select from the Course List. This list contains your school’s actual courses. If class is not in drop down menu select “Other” and type in the class.

  38. Who May Apply to EOP? Historically low-income and educationally underserved undergraduate students who need admission assistance and support services to succeed in college Students who demonstrate academic potential and motivation

  39. Applying to EOP High School Graduate or Equivalent Meet CSU Eligibility for Regular Admission EOP considers admission for students who may not meet regular admission criteria on a campus by campus basis

Applying to EOP • Students must complete and submit an application for Undergraduate Admission to the campus before applying to the EOP program. • Application to the Educational Opportunity Program includes: • 1) Completed Undergraduate Admission application to the campus • 2) Completed EOP application with: • Applicant Information form • Two Recommendation forms

  41. To apply for EOP online, Go to Apply Online, then click link to apply for EOP online. Separate Application for EOP Online EOP applications can be started only AFTER submitting an online application to a CSU campus first

  45. EOP Online Recommendation Form – Completed by counselor or teacher • Counselors and teachers will receive an email message with the web link to the recommendation form • There is a new message for each student application Unique link for each recommendation

  46. EOP Online Recommendation Form – Completed by counselor or teacher • Must complete the initial recommendation form • Additional forms will pre-populate for a student applying to multiple campuses • Counselors and teachers can edit responses before resubmitting
