  1. Endourology-Dr. Prashant Jain Cystoscopy allows the surgeon to look into the bladder’s lining and the urethra. A hollow tube, also known as a cystoscope, is inserted into the urethra and slowly pushed up into the bladder. It is a multi-purpose serving method as it can help diagnose bladder diseases and also treat them. Endourology is that branch of urology in which small internal endoscopes and instrumentation are used to see into the urinary tract and perform surgery. The branch deals with the diagnosis and treatment of the genitourinary tract, urinary bladder, and urethra. Endourology treatments are decided upon the patient’s age and disease severity.

  2. D J stenting D J stenting stands for “Double J Stent.” It is used to manage urinary obstructions commonly. It is a small tube that is placed in the path between the kidney and the bladder. The shape looks like a ‘J’ and a mirrored ‘J’ on the bottom. D J stenting keeps the ureter open all the time and helps it dilate. It also flushes out the stones from the kidney. Before inserting the stent, a cystoscope is used. A guidewire is passed through the ureter to the kidney, and then the stent is pushed in. Posterior Urethral Valve fulguration It is an obstructive anomaly in the genitourinary system of male infants. This anomaly occurs when the urethral valves have slit-like narrow openings that partially impedes the urine outflow. The urologist inserts the endoscope instrument and observes the obstruction and remove the valve leaflets through a small incision. Deflux injection for Vesicoureteral Reflux

  3. Vesicoureteral reflux is that anomaly in which the ureter doesn’t grow long enough, and it enters the bladder abnormally. Therefore, there are chances that urine might reflux up back to the kidney. Deflux is a naturally occurring chemical in the human body which has the ability to breakdown on its own. This drug causes a permanent bulge and it, in turn, makes it harder for the urine to flow back up. Ureterocele incision A ureterocele is an anomaly that causes swelling at the end of the ureter as it enters the bladder. Refluxes may happen, and it is due to the weakness of the flap valve. The main problem it causes is that it damages the kidney due to urine blockage. To cure this, a transurethral puncture can be done using the cystoscope. Botox injection for bladder incontinence The inability to hold the bladder is commonly known as bladder incontinence. The bladder might create too much pressure or may even

  4. leak. Botox Injection is a drug that causes temporary paralysis of the muscles. Botox injections help in the treatment of bladder incontinence. It decreases the muscular contractions of the bladder. If you have any problem related to Laparoscopic urology you may consult the Best pediatric urologist in Delhi, Dr Prashant Jain.
