  1. Common eye diseases that can affect children's vision

  2. Amblyopia: A condition in which the brain fails to properly process visual information from one eye, causing the eye to become weak and vision to be blurry. Strabismus: A condition in which the eyes are not properly aligned, causing double vision or a "cross-eyed" appearance. Nystagmus: A condition in which the eyes move uncontrollably, making it difficult for the child to focus on objects.

  3. Refractive Errors: Myopia, hypermetropia, and Astigmatism (blurred vision caused by an irregular shape of the cornea or lens) which are common vision problems that can occur in children. Congenital Cataract: A clouding of the lens in the eye that is present at birth or develops in the first few months of life Retinopathy of Prematurity : A disorder that affects the blood vessels in the retina of premature infants and can lead to vision loss.

  4. Color Blindness: A genetic condition that affects the way the brain interprets color. Drooping eyelid: This is a condition where the upper eyelid droops down and covers part of the iris and pupil, blocking vision.
